An intimate wedding
I love being invited to photograph small intimate weddings. Wedding photography in West Bridgford has always been for some of the smallest and sweetest weddings.It feels like such a privilege to be a part of a small wedding, and to capture the ceremony and a few photos afterwards. Claire and Ian are lovely. They have been together for quite some time and have two children together. So to photographing them making everything even more official was an honour.
The registry Office at West Bridgford is in a lovely spot. It has lots of big trees and a lovely leafy park surrounding it. So after the ceremony and a few group photos with close family, I took the two of them into the park for a few lovely portraits. Claire had a wonderful colourful bouquet, which I loved. She had made her own dress, making the sleeve details from Nottingham lace.

Claire and Ian had loads of lovely colourful confetti, which everyone enjoyed. In fact I think grandad might have enjoyed throwing the confetti even more than the kids. It didn’t stop through the group shots, and I have some lovely shots of Claire and her mum in a lot of floating confetti! Claire and Ian continued their celebrations with a nice meal at Escabeche in West Bridgford and I left them to it and got on the bus home.
