Swancar Farm Wedding
I do love a good Swancar Farm wedding. It is a venue I have photographed weddings at on many occasions. But each one is different and unique. The venue has a laid back intimate vibe and suited Alice and David’s nuptials perfectly. Alice and David are a fun couple and their wedding was bright and colourful and super sunny! It was great fun to photograph and hang out with them on this very special day. Below are a small selection of photographs from the day, followed by a slide show to music with a few more pictures.
I am blogging 36 photos again, much like a roll of film. These are some of the shots that I think tell the story of the day. Starting with Alice’s evening glittery converse. There were also moments that stood out for me. One of my favourites was Alice’s dad seeing her for the first time in her wedding dress. He was overcome with emotion and it was a lovely moment to photograph. Us photographs rather like a few tears to photograph at on a wedding (thanks to dad for helping with some photography gold right there!) Another moment was when the groomsmen decided to apply some suncream because it was such a bright sunny day, but then realised it was the sort of cream that is not easily absorbed so they all looked a bit ghostly white for a while! It was rather funny.
Alice looked gorgeous in her dress from Francesca’s in Leicester. Her hair was very spanish looking with a lovely pink flower pinned to the side. She looked stunning and I don’t blame her dad for shedding a tear. I think I may have done too! Her bridesmaids had bright pink dresses that really popped against the sunny backdrop and looked particularly lovely on all of them. Alice had a bridesman too. If your gay best friend can’t be one of your bridesmaids then who can?! I got some lovely photos of them all together in the long sweeping road at Swancar. Its a really pretty spot for photos and we returned to the spot again in the evening for confetti photos and couple shots.
A sunny day
All in all it was a beautiful sunny wedding day for a great couple. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Do take a look at the rest of the highlights in the little slide show at the bottom of the post.
